See what folks are saying about working with Erin!
“Erin has provided some of the finest professional development for my teachers that our district has ever had. Caring, interactive, engaging, relevant, funny, thoughtful, timely. Simply amazing. I can’t wait to get her back here for more.”
Eugene O., Director of Fine and Performing Arts
Everett Public Schools, MA
“I don’t think I’ve ever had a workshop quite like Erin’s. I used the strategies immediately with my students and they worked! Now I don’t focus so much on all the things I can’t do and focus on what I can. I feel like I can actually love my job again.”
Sean D., K-8 Music Teacher
New York City
“I’m so glad that I had attended one of Erin’s sessions on ways to engage learners by improving my equity practices. As soon as I started the school year, my classroom culture shifted and students are now more engaged than ever. Erin continues to be a tremendous help. I look forward to our meetings every month.”
Helen M., 6-12 General and Instrumental Teacher, Helsinki, Finland
We all want to make an impact on our students through music.
But the vast majority of music teachers feel stuck, overworked, pulled in a million directions and too exhausted to make any meaningful changes in their own teaching practices.
Simply put—teaching music continues to challenge music teachers in ways never imagined.
Many of the ways we’ve been teaching in the past won’t work today.
My mission is to help music and arts teachers, school districts and arts organizations who:
Are seeking professional development that is relevant, timely and will help them engage their students through innovative and inclusive practices
Are too busy to do the deep reflective work to enact meaningful change in their practice
Are often asked to do more with the little time they have during the school days
Are looking to elevate their curricular and program development to meet the needs of today’s students
